Keep the Lights On

An individual 20–25 minute challenge on data-center power, grid connection, redundancy, renewable supply and local acceptance.

Scenario. You are advising on a new AI data center campus. Your job is to balance reliability, speed-to-power, low-carbon supply and bankability.
No obvious hints. The game intentionally avoids detailed answer clues before submission so everyone has the same chance.
Safe setup. The front-end is static HTML/CSS/JS. The shared leaderboard uses an optional Cloudflare Pages Function + KV, with localStorage fallback.

Format

Individual

Each participant answers independently. No team pitch and no individual countdown.

Difficulty

Questions stay practical: enough nuance to test understanding, without becoming expert-only.

Result

Scores are displayed at the end and can feed the shared leaderboard when the Cloudflare backend is active.
